L2 Application Support Engineer (Integration and Middleware)

The Integration Support engineer is responsible for the health and reliability of the enterprise middleware layer, managing complex data flows between systems and ensuring Spring Boot services and IBM CP4I components (MQ, ACE, APIC) are performant, secure and highly available. Core stack: IBM CP4I (ACE, MQ, API Connect), Spring Boot, Red Hat OpenShift.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end traceability of transaction flows from API Connect through ACE to backend Spring Boot microservices.
• Root cause analysis of middleware failures (MQ message loss, ACE sync errors, JVM crashes).
• Governance of integration components on OpenShift; resource allocation and pod scaling.
• Security enforcement: mTLS, OAuth2, JWE/JWS; troubleshoot ACE message flows, ESQL and adapters; manage IBM MQ queue managers and dead-letter queues; resolve API Connect and DataPower issues.
• Performance tuning of Spring Boot (thread/heap dumps); log aggregation with ELK/Splunk.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Middleware or Integration Support; currently residing in KSA.
• Mastery of IBM CP4I (ACE, MQ, API Connect); advanced Java and Spring Boot; expert OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, AMQP, MQTT; monitoring with Instana, Dynatrace or Prometheus/Grafana.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; IBM CP4I and Red Hat OpenShift certifications preferred.
