Financial Operations Analyst

HALA is a leading fintech in the MENAP region building the future bank of SMEs, licensed by the Saudi Central Bank. We are seeking a Financial Operations Analyst responsible for daily financial reconciliation of acquiring and payment transactions, investigating discrepancies and ensuring timely resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end reconciliation of acquiring transactions across the Pool Account and Core System; validate Auto Reconciliation and perform manual reconciliation where required.
• Investigate, resolve and follow up on unmatched transactions, coordinating with relevant departments.
• Categorize and enrich reconciliation data to improve Auto Reconciliation effectiveness.
• Conduct daily accuracy checks; complete reconciliation within defined timeframes and escalate outstanding items.
• Prepare daily, periodic and ad-hoc reconciliation reports for stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field; 2-5+ years in financial operations, reconciliation, payments or banking operations.
• Understanding of payment card transactions, bank settlement, POS acquiring (Mada/Visa/Amex), Sadad and IPS/Sarie preferred.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills; strong attention to detail and stakeholder management.
